The refurbishment
The refurbishment of the old Linton House has turned a rather tired looking building into a modern and attractive office. A dramatic change which has attracted prestige tenants.
The work was started on 16th January 2002 and completed by the end of May - a total of 16 weeks, including commissioning and testing of the air conditioning. And the partitioning, electrics, and air conditioning can all be easily and quickly reconfigured when necessary to cater for the changing needs of the tenants.
Accoustic wallcladding has made the building warmer and much quieter. And the removal of the false ceiling and installation of a new false floor has given an extra 150mm of headroom throughout the building.
There are significant energy savings because of the more efficient air conditioning and the insulation provided by the wall panels.
