New Production Manager for AET Flexible Space

ASands (Large)AET, producer of the world leading Flexible Space Under Floor Air Conditioning (UFAC) system welcomes Andrew Sands to the team this month, who takes up the newly created role of Production Manager.  Andrew joins the team after a twenty year career at well-known HVAC manufacturer Eaton Williams, where he joined as an assembler and gained experience in many areas of the manufacturing business, finishing his term there in the position of Project Engineer.  Andrew is based in the UK office and is responsible for overseeing Quality, Product Development and Production at the worldwide facilities demonstrating AET’s continued desire to offer the best UFAC products to their established global market.

AET has been a supplier of UFAC systems worldwide since the early 1990’s, with owner Glan Blake Thomas instrumental in the development of the original Hiross Flexible Space system, in particular the design of their unique Fantile unit. In 2010 AET Manufacturing was founded after acquiring the rights to produce Flexible Space equipment from former manufacturer Emerson Network Power and continued to produce AET Flexible Space equipment at facilities in Europe and China.

Commenting on the new appointment, Managing Director Glan Blake Thomas says, “We are delighted to have Andrew on board to help us maintain the highest quality products and maintain our position as world leader in our field.  His engineering background, training and experience will undoubtedly assist further product improvement in line with current market demands.  He joins AET at an exciting time of expansion and I believe his role to be critical to the company’s futureHe has hit the ground running travelling to our partner facility in Italy to co-manage a Bureau Veritas Inspection for a forthcoming major project in the Middle East.”

Andrew is the fourth new employee to join AET in the past eight months, joining William Ruse (Service Engineer), Artem Khodarev (Assistant Project Manager) and Keith Bowden (Accountant).
