PRESS RELEASE: JANUARY 27 January 00
AET Demonstrates Flexibility For AIG Dublin A recent order for Flexible Space underfloor air conditioning equipment for the American Investment Group (AIG) in Dublin, procured by Bletchingley based Advanced Ergonomic Technologies Ltd (AET) demonstrates the flexibility and adaptability of the system. Working with the installing contractor, Dublin based Winthrop Engineering; an order of 114 Fan Tile Units was supplied by AET. Although not a full installation of the Flexible Space System the FTU 450 were to be incorporated into the displacement system to provide local temperature control. Due to the specified American raised floor, this required a specially designed adapter kit due to American specifications differing to European. The FTU 450 allows maximum flexibility by redistributing fully conditioned and filtered air to the internal environment. Personal control of these units allows users to adjust the airflow to their individual preference. The FTU is also provided with a 500-Watt electric heater, temperature set point and fan speed adjustment. One of its main features is that it may be easily relocated to suit changing office layouts in a matter of minutes whilst ensuring maximum user comfort. The American Investment Group chose Flexible Space Fan tile Units for their effective and even distribution of air supply for their new building, which is nearing completion and will add to the Port regeneration programme in Dublin. |
