FLEXIBLE SPACE GOES SKY HIGH

The Flexible Space System now has a new distributorship and offices in Hong Kong with the recently formed company, AET Flexible Space (Hong Kong) Ltd.

The new offices and show suite are located on the 57th floor of 'The Centre' development in Queens Road Central. This 100,000m2 development already has Flexible Space equipment installed throughout by Advanced Ergonomic Technologies, the principle distributor for Flexible Space worldwide.

The initial function of the new company was to provide a maintenance and fit-out service for the existing clients within 'The Centre', but the company has since been made the official distributor for the Liebert Hiross Flexible Space System, Nesite Raised Access Floor and a range of ergonomic accessories resulting in the first fully flexible show suite in the Asia Pacific region.

The Centre has been described as one of the most intelligent buildings in Hong Kong and has won awards for energy efficiency and indoor air quality. Tenants in the building have given highly positive feedback on the system and local academic institutions are currently investigating how the Flexible Space System improves indoor air quality.

Glan Blake Thomas, Managing Director of AET in the UK will be presenting a paper at the International Symposium for Air Conditioning in High Rise Buildings in Shanghai later this year using 'The Centre' and other projects as case studies. Prospective attendees of the Symposium are most welcome to visit the new show suite for an in-depth view of under floor air conditioning.
