The award follows a period of change for the floor system as Nesite took over manufacture from Italian based Hiross Srl. The system was originally designed in conjunction with the Hiross Flexible Space System, the innovative underfloor air-conditioning system that utilises the under floor plenum as a duct to distribute the conditioned air. This specific requirement demanded the development of a fully accessible yet air tight access floor.

Nesite have continued to design and develop the floor system with the same precision engineering techniques, and now offer a wide range of standard panel coverings, as well as a selection of substructures to meet all load bearing requirements. They also manufacture a specialised range of high class finishes, including marble, parquet, natural stones, glass, and a whole range of materials including customised finishes.

This wide range of substructures and finishes makes the Nesite system suitable for a wide range of applications, even including a specially developed system for external use.
