NEW DISTRIBUTOR FOR FLEXIBLE SPACE
Advanced Ergonomic Technologies Ltd (AET) have recently appointed newly established Design Air Ltd as their latest sub-distributor. The official launch took place in early March at the Building Services Exhibition in Dublin.

Following the success of the Flexible Space System in the recently completed Prudential offices in Belfast in association with Bel-Air Refrigeration Ltd, AET secured an order of 114 FTU's for the American Investment Group project in Dublin. Subsequently, this led to the search for a new agent to distribute flexible space in Southern Ireland.
Design Air Ltd have already had great success with the system, particularly the Raised Access Floor system by Nesite. It appears that there is a gap in the market for a high quality access floor in Ireland and the Nesite system is proving to be very popular. The Flexible Space concept comprises of an underfloor air conditioning system, which utilises the access floor plenum as the duct for conditioned air. This simplifies the design, installation and operation of modern working environments by eliminating the limited flexibility of conventional piping, fixed ductwork and false ceilings. Benefits of the system include maximum flexibility, shorter construction time, 10% reduction in building height, initial and an estimated 5-7% life-cycle cost savings, optimised indoor air quality and improved energy efficiency. |
