Korea Expressway Corporation – AET Flexible Space

Korea Expressway Corporation

South Korea

The new headquarters building for Korea Expressway Corporation was supplied with AET Flexible Space UFAC equipment in conjunction with AET’s Korean distributor Shinsung Engineering. The Korea Expressway Corporation runs the toll roads in South Korea and actively engages in the construction and maintenance of the expressways.

In 2013 UFAC equipment was installed over 19 floors of the new headquarters building tower covering an area of approximately 24,000 sq m.  Underfloor systems were preferred by the client due to it’s height saving capabilities, flexibility and speed of installation.

AET CAM-V100 and CAM-V150 downflow units were developed specifically for this project by client request and have since become part of the AET Flexible Space extended product range.

A total of 38 large size downflow units supply air volume of up to 16,500 m3/hour into the underfloor plenum and the conditioned air is supplied into the workspace via 800 TU4 fan terminal units incorporating EC fan technology for minimal energy consumption.  The building also uses the AET Flexvisor monitoring system for remote monitoring and control.
