2008 | 2012 Refurbishment

Film House is an iconic building at 142 Wardour Street in the heart of Soho and once home to the Associated British Pathé film company.  The building was refurbished in phases between 2006 and 2012 and underfloor air conditioning was installed throughout the four floors as part of these phased refurbishments, highlighting the modularity of installing such systems

The lower floors 1 to 3 have ten CAM-V downflow units which supply conditioned air via the underfloor plenum and receive spent air back at high level.  The fourth floor fit-out has four CAM-C downflow units supplying and receiving air at underfloor level.  The units have been supplied with direct expansion coils and are served by 2-pipe heat pumps.  The 300mm floor void throughout the building is adequate to accommodate the standard TU4 Fantiles.

Planning has been granted in 2018 for demolition of the building behind the façade to create a new 7-storey hotel.
